An integral part of the pellet production line is the counterflow cooler. The process of pressing wood pellets generates a large amount of heat. Hot pellets must be cooled properly and quickly to maintain the required hardness according to standards. Cooling is achieved by a stream of cold air flowing in the opposite direction to the flow of pellets.
